My first Blog!

I have had a couple of blogs in the past, but I am deciding that as busy as we are and as fast as things can change, we needed a family one. So here we are! We have been home from Oklahoma for two days now, and we are just starting to feel like we are catching up on our rest. Norman goes back to work on Monday, and then life will return to normal. We have so much to do in the coming months. We have a house hunting trip to D.C. scheduled for the first of February, which we are really looking forward to. Norman found out that the report time for us to Washington is July 1st-15th, so we are going to try to aim for a move-in date of July 1st. We are so anxious to get out there and just KNOW where we will live for the next four years, but at the same time we don't want to leave. We have so many mixed feelings about what is coming up, but one thing that we are sure of is that we are so blessed by this opportunity, and we can't wait to take advantage of all that D.C. has to offer!!! It does make it easier to move knowing that our best friends will be moving as well...

Christmas was fantastic! It is always so wonderful to go home and catch up with friends. There is something so comforting about going home and seeing familiar faces. In our life here where change is an ongoing expected thing, it is nice to go home to the slower pace of the farm. Eli loves going out with PaPa, and Norman and I especially love the chance to have free babysitters!!! ;)

Well, thats all for now! The boys have had their baths, and it's time for me to get their clothes ready for church in the morning. Nighty night!
