When I woke up this morning just before 7, all the plans we'd made for our day went out the window. I was in my bedroom getting dressed when I saw the flashing lights, and when I peeked out my upstairs window all I saw was a mess of fire engines, cop cars, and base personnel all in front of our neighbors home. I called my good friend and neighbor, Leah, and we both decided to go see if someone was needed to watch Renee's children. To make a long story short, Renee needed to go to the hospital, so the paramedics took her and I took her three children. Yep, THREE. First off, people who have more than 2 children have my utmost respect, but people who have 5 children, are just flat out angels. We did lots of arts and crafts, painting projects and making flowers out of pipe cleaners.
Leah took the kids to give me a break, and I had to get ready for an appointment. Thankfully Norman decided to stay home and help me out today, so he stayed home with Chase while Eli and I went to his doctors appointment. So now it's 3:30 and I'm just now sitting down for the first time all day. Man my feet hurt!
We had planned on going to see Ally today, but with all the chaos we just weren't able to keep our date. I'm so sorry Ally... I'm so sad I didn't get to see you today. Life just gets in the way sometimes!! I'll be down next Monday though...I promise!!! And you know I'm running out of time to get down to Cincy Mills, so I need to get down there soon!
Alrighty, I need to get off of here and get back to work. If I rest my tired feet too long, I won't be able to get up again!!! Now on to more laundry... Hopefully the rest of the week won't be so chaotic!!! Ciao!

Please don't apologize. You are an awesome friend and came through for Renee in a time of need. I've been thinking about her a lot today and hope she's okay.
