Playtime Pictures!

We had a great week with lots of activities and playtime! The weather is *starting* to look up some, and although it is still chilly we are taking advantage of the sunny days we do get. The week started off rather rough, with an ill neighbor, but Eli was happy to have some "extra" kids in the house to play with. Tuesday it was cold and rainy, so I took the boys to see Horton Hears a Who, which was fabulous! Wednesday we had my PCS evaluation for my asthma, and my civilian doctor agreed I am fit to move from here to D.C. He really thought I was joking when I told him why I came in, but when he saw the papers he was so floored. Why they believe it might be a problem for me to have asthma in D.C. I have no idea. A lot of you guys who are civilian should know one thing about military medical...IT STINKS! It's horrible, awful, insane and I am so thankful we are able to go off base for our doctors. There are many things I respect about the military, but the medical system isn't one of them...

Sorry...moving on...After that appointment on Wednesday, we spent much of the day outside playing, and the same thing Thursday - well, until it got too cold to be outside! And then Friday we had a playdate with my friend Leah and her 4 beautiful children across the street! Wouldn't you know we scheduled a playdate, but the weather was awful and so we had to be stuck indoors. It was so much fun though, and we were so happy that Leah had us over. THANKS LEAH! I'M GONNA MISS YOU!
