Life After the Air Force!: Simon did great!!!

So great, he deserved a post about the trip; but that's all I've got to blog about today because I am BEAT! We were in and out, and up and down out of our apartment 3 times today and it was exhausting. It wouldn't have been so bad, but two of those times I was lugging a baby and a 20 pound cat so my arms are toast!

So back to Simon. He did beautifully! I carried him, and he didn't pee. He received lots of sweet comments from people telling him that he was the prettiest cat ever and the fattest one they'd ever seen. One lady even said "holy cow - that is a cat's head on a dog's body!" That was my favorite comment of the day. Bottom line, mission accomplished. The groomer did a wonderful job, and we are all happy we don't have to do it for another 3 or 4 months.

I did notice while paying for Simon's 'do, that there was the most precious pink chihuahua shirt. Well, it was a small breed dog shirt, not necessarily just for chihuahuas. But I seriously wanted to get it for someone. Who do I know who has a small dog? Nobody here...and nobody who would put a shirt on a dog anyway...but it was just the cutest thing with the glittery lettering and everything.....sooooooooooooooo....Simon is the lucky recipient!!! :)
