My first blog award!

I'm so ecstatic to get my VERY FIRST BLOG AWARD! I am seriously so happy right now; thank you Melinda!!! But first, since I am so grateful to her for reading my blog and being such a faithful comment friend, I want to give her a little love over here! :) So to everyone who reads my blog, please meet Melinda! (I totally hijacked this pic from her online album!!) And this is her oldest son Jack! She married my friend Josh, which is how we first knew each other. Josh and his sister Jennifer and I grew up together, so we've been friends for somewhere around 29 years now! We never really got to know each other since I've been away from Geary for so long, and she began her Lariat Creek and Hinton Church experience after I'd left, so I credit the blog world for helping us get to know each other!
