Visiting with Neil Armstrong

Today Eli asked if we could go see Neil Armstrong, so one guess as to where that took us. It was so rainy and cold and dreary, so the indoor stuff was all that really looked appealing. I took a few pictures of our day at the Air and Space Museum...

This is a flight license/proof of commission for this guy, and it was from 1943. I thought it was really cool...

And this was very beautiful...I took the pic for my mom because she loves old trunks. This was Amelia Earhart's, and it was made by Albert Wood and Five Sons of Port Washington, New York. Its purpose was to hold all of her trophies, awards, and memorabilia.
