Getting Restless...

This weather is driving me insane...blizzard one day and wind and sun the next. And not only that, but we fly back to DC on Wednesday and I am just ready to get on with it. I feel like I have so much to do, but I'm stuck in neutral.

Some exciting news is that OUR NUMBER CAME UP AND WE HAVE A HOUSE! We went from number 13 to having a house, because they opened up a new neighborhood!! We can move in anytime from May 4th to May 15th, so it all depends on the moving company (TMO) as to when they can come pack us and get us moved. So I suppose I am running out of days to put off my painting and need to just get home and get it done. The style of the neighborhood is brick colonial type, and they are sections of 4 townhomes that are connected. It is really a pretty neighborhood, and the neat part is that we are right across from two playgrounds...one for older kids and one for younger ones. It will be soooo great!

Alright, I suppose that's all for now. Chase is going cross-eyed and I need to put him down for his afternoon nap. :) Ciao peeps!

Okay girl...I'll be needing to pick your brain about the DC area!!

We want to live on base at Meade...know anything about it? How long the wait is, etc?

That is great news! Are you still going to be in the DC general area? We still have plans to be over there some time in the summer. I would love to be able to see you again!

Allison I have noooo idea about Ft. Meade. I will do some checking on that and get back to you. The only two I know of are Andrews and Ft. Belvoir...once I get home I'll see what I can find out for ya...

Wendy, yep! We'll just be closer to your friend, but still right near a metro and able to get to the city quickly. :) Let me know when you guys are coming! I'm looking forward to it!

Congratulations on getting a house! I've been married to the Air Force for 7 years now! We live on base. Hubby leaves for Korea for a year in 4 weeks...and then we go to Germany for 3 years in June '10. So glad you reached out via Twittermoms. So happy to meet you!
