A perfect ending to a not so perfect day…

So the not so perfect day part will have to wait for another post, but the ending was great!  A long-time friend, Karen, from Oklahoma happened to be in DC for work, so we all met up for dinner at Hops in Arlington!  It was so great to see her…it had been years!

And then when we got home, I let Norman take care of getting the boys ready for bed, and I started walking with my new friend and neighbor Meredith!  For now we are going to walk on Tuesday/Thursday nights, but will walk more frequently at some point once we get in the routine.  I am so thankful for her! She is a Christian who loves her family and is just such a complete sweetheart! I’m blessed to have her as my neighbor!

On a side note, Chase started Pre-School yesterday and he did PERFECTLY! He was happy all day and had a great report.  They requested that I bring pull-ups because they are going to start having him “potty sit” and start trying to get him used to the idea of a potty.  He played well, took turns, followed directions, and I was just thrilled.  That was SOOOO not the report I got when Eli was in pre-school.  I’m excited for him to go tomorrow…he seems to really love it, and I totally love the amount of housework I can get done when he is there! :)

Alright, time to hit facebook and check my farm! :)  Yep, I’m so addicted to Farm Town!  Ciao for now!
