Tagged for 6

I was tagged by Charity to play the “6 Uninteresting Things That Make You Happy” game.

Rules of the game:
1. Write down 6 generally uninteresting things that make you happy.
2. Put a link to the person who tagged you, in your post.
3. Tag six other people by leaving comments on their blogs letting them know that they've been tagged. Then link to them in your post.
4. There's no pressure to play the game. If you don't want to, don't. But if you do, fun fun! :)

Here are my 6!

1.  I love to listen to my boys laughing together.  That is such a magical sound to me…the time that they play happily together makes me so unbelievably happy.

2.  I love, love, love when I find a spot on my carpet and I spray my magical spray on it and the stain comes out completely.  I take pride in my stain free carpet, and it makes me happy to just look at my clean floors :).

3.  I love the smell that a running dishwasher makes.  The smell of the detergent smells very good to me.

4.  I love Chase’s little chipmunk chatter laugh.

5.  Candles make me happy.  I love after having cleaned my house and vacuuming my floors to fill the house with the smell of wonderfully yummy candles.

6.  I love when Norman has days off from work.  Watching tv together the night before and knowing that he won’t have to get up early to leave us for work the next morning is the best feeling in the world!

So those are my 6!  And now I tag…

  2. Stacey!!! I love your six things! Really, I do!!!

Ok, so I HAVE to know what your magical carpet spray is!!! What is it? Oh I would love to have a magical spray that I could spray on a spot and then watch the spot vanish! How awesome is that? hahahahaha! Just think of us two...hanging out in your living room...spraying at spots and then giggling while we watch them disappear!!!! hahahahahahaha! We are so weird!!!! hahahahahahaha!

  4. I also demand you share your magic spray secret with us. Otherwise, I might hold you for ransom. haha!

Curious....do you use container candles or pillars, votives? What are your favorite fragrances?

    Your new place looks amazing!

  5. Okay, here is the link to my carpet secret :)

Let me tell you how well this stuff works. Chase had spilled CHOCOLATE MILK in the back seat of my car and it sat unnoticed and uncleaned until it was time to sell our car. Then I freaked. It had been there for months if not a year...the sun was setting the stain...I KNEW nothing would get it out. But I sprayed this stuff on it and it ALL CAME OUT!!! I love it. Coke stains, blood, chocolate, juice, EVERYTHING comes out. And the biggest thing is that it has no bleaching agents that will dye your carpet. I use it on the rugs Norman brought back from Afghanistan and Qatar, and they are in perfect shape.

Also, I have posted pics on my blog where you can see what it does if you do a search on the blog for "carpet cleaner".

I always order 2 or 3 bottles at a time because the shipping is like $10, but the bottles themselves are only like $7. Also, I use it on clothes, delicates, EVERYTHING! No more Shout or stain lifter stuff for me...this gets even old stains out. Okay, I'll shut up...

  6. Wendy - Thank you! I use all of the above...but I love pillars...well, and I love jar candles too. My fav scents are cinnamon during the fall and winter, and berry scents during the spring and summer. I have votives in the smaller places too, so I guess I have to say I have all types and use all brands! My favorites are the Yankee Candles, but they are so pricey so unless they are on sale, I don't get them.

  7. Thanks for sharing your secret! I am always looking for better ways of cleaning!

Maybe I can make you a few candles when I start that hobby back up. I haven't made any container candles, but I love doing pillars. They aren't perfect, of course, but they are one of a kind as they are hand poured here at Elf Central.
