I normally stay away from political stuff…but this makes me angry as a Christian…as a mom…and as an American. Our children don’t say the Pledge of Allegiance anymore to honor this great nation and those who have died to protect it…Prayer isn’t allowed in schools because it offends Muslims or whoever. Sorry… Whatever. But you know what, our children can sing Jesus Loves the Little Children if you take out Jesus and put in OBAMA.
FYI – Senate, House of Representatives, whoever is stalking my blog and wants to take issue with this…Obama is this country’s president…our leader…NOT OUR SAVIOR. Maybe someone should inform him? Or, whoever was behind that HORRIBLE display should be informed. I think this country is off in the ditch when the only way we can sing children’s Bible songs in public is when we take out Jesus or any Biblical reference, and substitute a government official.
If my kids want to pray in school, they will pray. We sing Bible songs on this little CD on the way to taking Eli to school, and if he wants to sing them or hum them or WHATEVER I don’t really give a flying hoot about whoever. His daddy fights to protect his freedom of speech. So to my children – I promise to fight to protect our values as a Christian family. You will never participate in garbage like that. To my parents who are probably upset over me having a big mouth and using it – sorry. And that’s it. Rant over.
