We’re IN, We’re IN!!!! :)

Today was the most gut wrenching,  nerve wracking day…but it was worth every minute of worry! We had been recommended a private church school by some friends whose children attend there, and…WE GOT IN! There was one opening for Kindergarten, and after meeting with the counselor, then the head of the school, they invited Eli to meet the teacher and be evaluated by her.  So we left for lunch, then took Eli back at 12:40 and picked him up at 2.  I then met with the counselor and head of school again, where they extended the open spot to him, gave us the tuition schedule and paperwork, and we were on our way!!!

I am just RELIEVED.  I have to go by Kerr (crappy public school) to pick up his records and things that we had given them before Christmas, and when I go I will take a picture of the place.  It is truly sad for the kids that have to attend there.  It makes me ever so thankful that God is watching over us and opened a door.  I just have to keep praying that Eli does well and that this truly is a place where he can excel.  Only time will tell, and we are just having to take one step at a time.  One small step at a time…

  1. Congratulations! So glad he got in :) I know that's a big weight off your shoulders :) Oh...btw...my 1 year old son is named Eli too ;)
