It’s been awhile…

Things have been so hectic here, and I have just been a little down and wasn’t up to my usual blogging self.  Several things have happened since my last blog, so I will catch you up as quickly as I can!

January 18th my sweet baby Chase turned FOUR!  It’s so hard to believe that my little preemie is such a big boy now.  We celebrated with a party and Nana and Papa were able to come down for it, which made it super special.  Our good friends Reina and her kids and Kat and her family came, and we all had a wonderful time.

On January 19th, Norman and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary!  It’s so hard to believe that we’ve been married that long; on one hand it seems like we have always been together, but on the other it just seems like yesterday that we met.

Moving on to the latest happenings in our family, Eli is back in the hospital.  His medications got incredibly screwed up with the addition of Concerta, and we could not get him back under control.  His physical aggression and outbursts were beginning to hurt Chase again, (and the neighborhood dogs), so it was time for a complete overhaul.  The changes that have been made are going from him being on 1) Concerta 2) Lithium 3) Intuniv 4) Zyprexa and 5) DDAVT.

Now, he is on 1)Lithium 2)  DDAVT 3) Abilify 4) Strattera 5) Invega

Only time will tell if this new combination will be the right one for him, but for now all we can do is hope and pray.  We miss Eli terribly and are anxious for him to come home to us.

  1. I love you, Stace. Through the ups and downs, I couldn't have done any of this without you. You are the reason our family is a family.
