Hellooooooo Blog World!

It has been so long since I have blogged! It feels like such a lifetime ago, even though it’s only been about a month!

Eli is doing absolutely phenomenal.  He was in Laurel Ridge for a short week stay, and between that and his doctor making some additional adjustments, he is doing beautifully.  We have never seen him this happy and this stable, and it is a wonderful feeling in this house.  We feel comfortable, and at ease.  Sure we have some tough moments, but it feels like we are a solid family and all of the sacrifices that we have made were so worth it.  We made it.  We know there are challenges in store, and that we are no where near having everything figured out…but it’s okay.  We are going to be okay.

Norman is preparing for his promotion the end of this month to Lieutenant Colonel!  I absolutely cannot believe that when we met, his boss was a Lt. Col, and I shook in my shoes every time I was around her.  I felt like she was such a high rank and it scared me…and here Norman is about to be promoted to that rank.  It’s amazing to me that we have been married for 9 years and we have known each other for 10.  I am so proud of him, and no matter what the military has demanded from him, he is always there for me and our boys.  We are so incredibly blessed to have someone who gives of himself so freely to take care of us and make sure we are happy.  I love you Norman.  And I am so incredibly proud of you.  Congratulations on your wonderful achievement, and I know that you are a blessing and inspiration to those you lead and mentor.  There are so few men in this world who are truly honorable, and you are one  of them.  Thank you for being mine.

That is going to wrap it up for now.  I am getting super sleepy, but I promise to catch up on all my friends blogs soon, and I will be better about blogging!  I have been pouring all my online time into my shop and into planning my actual – REAL LIFE – shop here in San Antonio, and I hope and pray that I can get that established during this year sometime.  I will keep you posted on that!

Thank you to all of you who were praying for me during my surgery.  I am feeling great and slowly getting back into the swing of things!  I pray that it was a complete success and no more surgeries will be needed.  Okie doke…that is all for now!  Sweet dreams blog friends…I will be visiting your blogs very soon!

XOXO
