Soooo Ready For Spring!

The weather was so beautiful today, so while Norman was studying French for Air War College, I took the boys out for a walk around the neighborhood.  After all the rain we got Friday and Saturday, the parks and our backyard playscape was so muddy, that the sidewalk was the only decent place to take them to run free outdoors.

I am soooo happy to say that Eli got to come home the first part of December, and just as usual, Meridell worked their medication miracles, and Eli has been wonderful for over 2 months now.  For us, that is a long time to be happy and calm and stable.  I don’t know how long it will last before he hits another growth spurt and he needs another adjustment, but every day for us is  joy, and we are so blessed to have our family be pretty darn “normal”.  :)  There are still tantrums, but they are the normal brotherly fighting kind.  :)

Norman has been working hard at work and having to work doubly hard to work on his Air War College.  He has to take that course to have any hope of making Colonel, so for now he is doing it by correspondence, and if he is lucky and gets selected to do it in residence, that would pretty much seal the deal of him being promoted to Colonel when the time comes.

I have been busy with the kids…running Eli to appointments and keeping up with Chase.  He turned 5 in January, and Norman and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary in January as well!  That deserves its own post, so I will post about that in a day or so.  I just can’t believe we have been married for 10 years!  We are going to renew our vows this summer, and I am so thrilled to be getting the chance to do that.

Well, guess that is about all the updating for tonight!  Pretty boring post, so if you made it through the end, thanks for hanging in there!  Time to snuggle with Norman and watch an episode of Monk.  I love old series late as night before bed…it’s the perfect ending to a perfectly beautiful day.

Good night sweet bloggy friends!  I will be catching up with you soon! XOXO!!!

  1. I'm impressed, I must say. Rarely do I encounter a blog that's equally educative
and amusing, and without a doubt, you've hit the nail on the head. The issue is something not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about. Now i'm very happy that
I found this in my hunt for something concerning this.
