Time to get Settled!!!

Ever since we moved into the apartment after selling our home in Texas, we have been living in limbo. I didn't want to unpack there, because it was temporary.  Then we bought the home in Alexandria, which turned into a nightmare.  Here we are 2 months into our forever home, and I am struggling to unpack.  I think it's partially due to us not being settled in so long, that I literally don't know how to.  

But this week, we are having two couches and two recliners delivered...one for the living room and one for the family/game room. Plus, we are finally getting our guest room put together, so we will have a space for our guests to comfortably stay.  My best friend is coming in March, and I cannot wait!!! 

It normally takes me having visitors to get myself in gear and get things settled. 

We are officially 87 days away from our Disney trip!!! We are all so excited.  Our entire family is going, and there will be 11 of us!  😁 I am so excited! It can't get here fast enough.  

Another thing that popped up already, is the 2019 Mission Ball! The things that have been accomplished through this charity is astounding.  They have built multiple water wells to supply African villages with clean drinking water.  They also turned a semi truck into showers for the homeless. They do Selfless Saturdays where they feed the hungry in Baltimore, and just recently, they helped a young kid remove a tumor from his face that had him so ashamed he had to drop out of school.  We have come to love this organization, and you will probably hear a lot about it from me over the next coming months.  The Generosity Global ball is held in September, and tickets go on sale in March.  Please contact me if you would like to join us this year!!

Alright,  that's all I have for now.  I have been looking up flights for my friends visit, planning church camp for the kids, and figuring out their co-op schedule for the spring semester. I love vacation planning, and there is no better thing to plan than trips that bring my best friend out this way!!!  Look at these pictures from Mission Ball 2018.  It was an amazing time!!!!
