We Are In!

Yesterday we hired movers to get us moved in, and last night we spent our 1st night in the house! This is by far our favorite home, and laying in bed, looking out at the pool with the waterfalls turned on and the purple lights...it was incredible. Norman babe...we are home.  Not only do you put a roof over our heads, you put a stunning roof over our heads, and I am eternally grateful. Slowly but surely we will get settled, and I am so looking forward to spending the next 19+ years of our marriage making memories here with you! 😘😍.

Dad started chemo last week. I have no idea how this is going to end up, but we just got here. We moved here to be near family, and it will be so horribly unfair if dad is taken from us before the kids and Norman and I can spend any quality time with him.  I had such anxiety when we were in Virginia. I had this overwhelming need to get out here to Oklahoma. I was so afraid something would happen to my parents and that I would be too far away to get to them, especially during this stupid pandemic. 🤬 He had wanted to take mom and go to Rome...and we all had talked about us going with him. How is it that a year ago we were exploring Israel 🇮🇱 together, and now the steps in my home exhaust him? It is almost too unreal to fathom that this man who is never sick...never takes a break...wakes up at 4am every day to do farm stuff and chores...that he sounds so weak and frail and exhausted. It's heartbreaking. 

Ahhh...the Christmas lights guys came to install lights on the house. Gotta keep up with the Joneses. The street we live on is really unbelievable. For next years sake, I will say that we are using Special T Landscaping. I hope they do as good a job as the photos I've seen advertised.  I will never remember who we used, so at least I have it recorded here 😂.

Alright...thats all for now I suppose. Norman took off of work today, so we slept in and just ordered Mexican food. After yesterday, a quiet day feels perfect. I will add a few photos of the house...man we have a lot of work to do!!
